Aramis was rescued by the RSPCA from a multi cat household, where he had lived in one room with minimal human interaction. Here within RSPCA East Berkshire branch, it is clear that Aramis finds the environment quite overwhelming so far. He is very timid but not aggressive. Some of the cat cuddling volunteers have successfully started to socialise Aramis. He is beginning to show progress, now more relaxed and starting to enjoy being stroked and not so timid of people. Based on his past of living in close proximity with other cats, it is likely that Aramis will cohabit well with another friendly cat. It is early days in terms of observing how Aramis develops into his true character – he may come out of his shell very well and it is looking hopeful. Aramis would thrive within a calm and loving home environment to experienced cat owners who can take Aramis on his terms and encourage him to become more confident and used to human interaction.
