Jasper (black and white, 5 years old approx) was rescued by RSPCA inspectors from a squalid multi cat household. He arrived in branch care underweight and dirty, but he is now looking much better and has gained weight with no health concerns. Jasper is naturally skittish and initially very cautious. But after a while, he starts to drop his guard and is happy to have your company and tentative strokes, he tends to be more relaxed around women more so than around men: it takes him less time to relax around women. Jasper needs a home environment with experienced cat owners who can offer him the encouragement to continue to gain trust and confidence around people at his pace. Jasper would love the opportunity of a caring forever home in order for a good chance for him to become a more socialised cat.
