- Age: 4 years old
- Breed: Domestic short hair
- Colour: Black and white
- Gender: Male
Erny was signed over into RSPCA care to be rehomed because his owner’s circumstances changed and Erny was being kept outside too much causing him to be nervous and angry at life. Who can blame him. Erny has lived with children within his previous owner’s home with no issue, however the branch would advise older children or adults are best suited to Erny’s current temperament of being quite shy and nervous by new surroundings. But Erny is slowly coming round to socialising and loves a fuss with caring volunteers who visit him daily, he seems interested not hostile towards other cats in the vicinity and likes exploring once he has gained his confidence. We watch this space for further progress ! Erny has probably been through a rough time having to put up with drastic changes and disruption and he can be grumpy as he adjusts to settling in. He shows promise and with caring, experienced owners who can work with Erny at his own pace and give him space, he should develop even more into the lovely, sensitive character.

About Adoption
To reserve an animal after viewing a deposit of £25 is required. Please note we do not have card payment facilities so cash or cheque only please.
Bringing an animal into your home can be one of the most rewarding experiences in life, particularly if adopting from an animal rescue centre. Animal welfare is at the heart of the RSPCA’s work and as such we want all potential owners to give considerable thought to the kind of animal they wish to adopt and whether it will fit into their existing lifestyle.
