Hagrid

  • Age: 1.5 years
  • Breed: Domestic Short hair
  • Colour: Black
  • Gender: Male

Hagrid is a friendly and confident cat who was surrendered to a local vet by his previous owners, who could no longer afford to keep him. Hagrid is in great health and very sociable, loves to play, be stroked and sunbath. He can get a bit carried away sometimes when he is enjoying your attention and affection. Hagrid sometimes over steps the mark and can try to nip your arm or leg through excitement. It is just one big game and not aggressive as far as Hagrid is concerned. This can be easily controlled if you give Hagrid space and read the ‘game’ and signs. It may well settle down once Hagrid is rehomed where he has a much better environment to express himself rather than the cattery. For this reason, Hagrid is well suited to experienced cat owners or within a household where children are old enough to be aware of this potential excitable behaviour. Hagrid is a lovable boy who is very inquisitive and loves cuddles and attention. He would also enjoy access to go outside.

About Adoption

To reserve an animal after viewing a deposit of £25 is required. Please note we do not have card payment facilities so cash or cheque only please.

Bringing an animal into your home can be one of the most rewarding experiences in life, particularly if adopting from an animal rescue centre. Animal welfare is at the heart of the RSPCA’s work and as such we want all potential owners to give considerable thought to the kind of animal they wish to adopt and whether it will fit into their existing lifestyle.
