Bruno has come from a multi cat household and arrived in RSPCA East Berks branch care as a very withdrawn, unsociable cat who stayed in his bed all day and would hide if people approached him but not aggressive. It has taken just over four weeks of dedicated additional socialising time by the team at RSPCA East Berks for Bruno to turn a corner – he is beginning to come out of his shell ! Bruno initially accepted treats and strokes cautiously, but he is now becoming more confident and interactive, not hiding and beginning to enjoy people’s company. Bruno obviously needed time to gain trust and confidence and this will be key to continue with experienced new cat owners who can carefully encourage Bruno and bring out his confidence and affectionate side. Bruno shows promise. He is used to other cats company and would benefit from the opportunity to go outside as well as enjoy a calm, loving household. Bruno is fit and well and has a cuddly face which likes to be stroked.
