Porthos was rescued by the RSPCA from a multi cat household, where he had lived in one room with minimal human interaction. He is very timid but not aggressive. Since his rehabilitation living with a cat fosterer, Porthos has shown positive progress, whereby given his own space and time to know all is safe, he is now interacting successfully through play with his fosterer and gains confidence and motivation around other cats within the home. Porthos will take time to become more settled but he is coming out of his shell very well and it is looking hopeful. Porthos is mainly active during the night, when he plays like a kitten with cat toys. Porthos would thrive within a calm and loving home environment with experienced cat owners who have other resident cats that are friendly to socialise with Porthos, which will also motivate him to socialise with people.
