Albie was found abandoned in a house and signed over into the RSPCA for rehoming. Within the RSPCA’s care, Albie has tested FIV positive but with no other underlying health conditions. He will need to be adopted as a house cat with no contact with other cats for the rest of his life due to being FIV positive. Albie was known to be friendly and has lived with young children is his past home. Here within the branch Albie is timid, distrusting and hiding away. But with encouragement and taking sometime getting to know Albie, letting him know he is ok with reassuring talking to him, holding your hand out, giving him a few strokes, he is starting to gain confidence and trust slowly. It may take a while for Albie to settle but within the right home environment where he is given space, care and company, he should come out of his shell.
