  • Breed: Domestic short hair

Bunny was relinquished along with Milo, her male cat friend and her two kittens by her previous owner for various difficulties coping with all the cats living indoors.
Bunny is described as ‘a hidden gem’ by RSPCA East Berks volunteers who visit the branch cats daily. Bunny is friendly and socialised, but for all the upheaval and close bonds Bunny had in her previous home and lifestyle, she has taken some time to settle and can be timid within the cattery environment.

Bunny is gaining her confidence and she is a very sweet natured, friendly cat. Within the cattery Bunny likes to have a few treats, she likes to carefully explore the cat scratching tree and play with her feather wand, then, if she is feeling safe and you are lucky, she will come to have cuddles and be stroked on your lap. Bunny was a house cat before and will probably be a home bound cat, but it would be beneficial for her to have the opportunity to be introduced to the outdoors.

Bunny and Milo have recently been successfully re-introduced now that they are both neutered. After all the upheaval of being separated from their previous owner, kittens and each other, it would be wonderful to rehome Milo and Bunny together. They are both lovely, docile cats. It will take experienced new owners with no other pets at home to allow them time to readjust and settle in and return to their usual friendly and confident selves.
