Bella is a friendly lap cat who’s favourite thing in the world was to spend most of her day on her loving owner’s lap and the rest of the family. Unfortunately a change in the previous owner’s work-lifestyle pattern caused Bella to become unsettled at home alone, to the point she was soiling around the house only when her owner was out. When Bella’s owner returned home from work, Bella would return to her usual self with no issues using the litter tray or soiling around the house. This is why Bella was reluctantly signed over into the RSPCA. Bella was happy living with three other cats and loved plenty of fuss, attention and the reassurance of someone at home with her most of the day. Bella is a very house bound cat, only venturing out briefly into the garden each day, before returning home to enjoy more lap time. Here within the RSPCA East Berks care, Bella is understandably shy and initially wary of her new environment and strangers, but it does not take long before given some space and encouragement, Bella will venture out to explore her surroundings, climb the cat tree and come to greet you. She has a friendly core nature. So far daily observations record no signs of Bella soiling her personal cattery pen space. Bella just needs a dedicated new owner who will be home with her to offer lots of lap cat time in her forever home. Bella is suited to a retired person or couple, or a family who have children above the age of 10 who can offer Bella lots of attention and a calm home environment.
