Cats For Adoption
Bringing an animal into your home can be one of the most rewarding experiences in life, particularly if adopting from an animal rescue centre. Animal welfare is at the heart of the RSPCA’s work and as such we want all potential owners to give considerable thought to the kind of animal they wish to adopt and whether it will fit into their existing lifestyle.

To reserve an animal after viewing a deposit of £25 is required. Please note we do not have card payment facilities so cash or cheque only please.

George came into RSPCA East Berks branch’s care via local vets, he is a rescued stray cat. You can definitely see George has come from a domesticated and socialised background because he is very sweet natured and friendly with a gentle spirit. Although he loves to play cat and mouse hunt when it comes to playing with his favourite feather wand toy ! Playing and climbing are George’s best ways to make friends and entertain him, but he is equally happy to come and greet you and be stroked and picked up. He can be a bit jumpy with sudden movements but that’s not unusual for cats. George is very gentle and shows no signs of aggression ever, not towards other branch cats either. George deserves a wonderful, loving forever home, perhaps with children to keep them mutually entertained, he is suitable for first time cat owners too. George would love to have access to explore and climb in a safe outdoor environment as well. Gorgeous George !
