Cats For Adoption
Bringing an animal into your home can be one of the most rewarding experiences in life, particularly if adopting from an animal rescue centre. Animal welfare is at the heart of the RSPCA’s work and as such we want all potential owners to give considerable thought to the kind of animal they wish to adopt and whether it will fit into their existing lifestyle.
If you are interested in giving a home to one of the animals, please fill in the enquiry form provided on the animal's profile, or call 07852 481 079
To reserve an animal after viewing a deposit of £25 is required. Please note we do not have card payment facilities so cash or cheque only please.

Erny was signed over into RSPCA care to be rehomed because his owner’s circumstances changed and Erny was being kept outside too much causing him to be nervous and angry at life. Who can blame him. Erny has probably been through a rough time having to navigate drastic changes and disruption. Initially he was grumpy as he adjusted to settling in here at the branch, but after a couple of weeks he is a much happier and friendly cat, pleased to have your company. Erny has lived with children within his previous owner’s home with no issue, however the branch would advise older children and adults are best suited to Erny’s initial shy and nervous temperament by new surroundings. Erny is sociable and loves a fuss with caring volunteers who visit him daily, he seems interested not hostile towards other cats in the vicinity and likes exploring once he has gained his confidence. Erny should develop even more into a lovely, sensitive character with caring, experienced owners who can work with Erny at his own pace whilst he settles in.
