Cats For Adoption
Bringing an animal into your home can be one of the most rewarding experiences in life, particularly if adopting from an animal rescue centre. Animal welfare is at the heart of the RSPCA’s work and as such we want all potential owners to give considerable thought to the kind of animal they wish to adopt and whether it will fit into their existing lifestyle.

To reserve an animal after viewing a deposit of £25 is required. Please note we do not have card payment facilities so cash or cheque only please.

Melba was taken into the RSPCA with a badly damaged tail which had to be amputated. She is now fully recovered with no apparent effects and is a happy, playful, loving kitten who loves being stroked, cuddled and played with. As Melba is not keen on being around other cats, we advise that she should be the only pet in the home – she has not been tried with dogs but there is a good chance she would not approve! She can be homed with children but they must be able to understand to be careful with the area around her tail as it still could be sensitive. Melba has been spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested (negative) and given flea and worm treatment so ready for her new home.
